Air Squats for Lower Body Workouts

If you are always travelling, whether for work or pleasure, then you know how bad thehotel gyms can be. Often times it’s just a few treadmills and maybe a set of dumbbells if you’re lucky.
But the lack of a good gym at your hotel doesn’t mean you can’t get a good lowerbody workout in. In fact, one of the bestlower body workouts that you can do doesn’t require any equipment at all.

All you need to be able to do is an air squat. To do an air squat, what you do is just stand up, and sit down like you were going to go to the bathroom or wanted to look at something on the ground without actually sitting down on the ground itself. When you can’t get any lower, then you simply stand back up. You can have your hands by your sides, but if you have trouble balancing, then it might be easier for you to hold them out in front.

For a good lower body workout, all you need to do is sets of 20-50 air squats in a row. Four or five sets and I guarantee you it will be one of the best workouts you’ve ever had.
