Watch Your Form Carefully


Bad form can cause injury and can take away from the impact of your workout. Don’t compromise your form to push yourself harder, as you will not achieve the results that you are setting out to accomplish when you do that. Use a mirror or work with a trainer to establish the proper form when you are just starting out and then diligently watch your form every time that you work out. If you find yourself starting to slouch or lean in ways that the exercise does not call for, stop for the day.
